ST17 (TDS 181)
METAL TO GLASS |
Acroflex TM ST17 is an Anaerobic Structural Bonder, designed for bonding close fit parts where fast set fixture is important. |
ST17 is used in conjunction with A64SP Activator and will set in under 60 seconds on most materials. ST17 can be used anaerobically without activator but this slows down the cure speed. |
Acroflex TM ST17 bonds metal to metal, glass to glass or in combination thereof and also ceramic parts in 60 seconds. However do not stress the component until 1 hour. Clean parts using Activator and abrade metals where possible. |
Re-apply Activator (both sides for speed) and do not move when in position. |
ST17 is not a gap filler therefore parts must fit together closely. |
ST30 (TDS 189)
All PURPOSE TOUGHENED STRUCTURAL BONDER |
Acroflex TM ST30 is our All Purpose “Multi” style rubber toughened Acrylic Structural Adhesive. |

ST30 is used in conjunction with our 7A38 Activator and a strong, flexible bond is formed within 1-2 minutes. |
Typical applications are varied but include wood to metals, metal to metal such as handles, strengthening bars for sheet fabrication, magnets to coated or plated steel including aluminium, brass and some plastics such as hard and slightly flexible parts. |
| |
Teflon TM and rubbers are difficult, if not impossible without special treatments. Where one surface is absorbent (ie. wood) apply activator to non-porous surface. Always allow the activator to dry first, bring parts together and hold under light pressure until fixture occurs. |
ST3295 (TDS 179)
RUBBER TOUGHENED ACRYLIC, High shear and temperature resistance. |
ST3295 is a second generation Acrylic adhesive designed to combine the High Shear and Temperature resistance of a conventional acrylic with the qualities of a rubber toughened adhesive where high Peel and Impact Strength are a feature. |
ST3295 bonds to a wide variety of materials such as Metals, Glass, Epoxy, Unsaturated Polyesters, GRP, Bakelite etc, ST3295 is supplied in our EMR (Equal Mix Ratio) system syringe or cartridge and is produced in various other forms of packaging. |
ST3295 can be applied from bottles 1:1 ratio and the cure time can be adjusted by variation of the ratio (3.2 max) without affecting the bond strengths after full cure. |
ST3295 is suitable for paint bake cycling to +180 ° C for typical coatings etc. Normal Acrylic operating limits recommended for continuous temperature exposure is -50 ° C to +130 ° C |
MMA300/310 (TDS) |
MACROPLEXX TM MMA300/310 is a two part A&B component system, which is fast setting when mixed via a static mix nozzle at room temperatures. Because it is a high viscosity non-sag material, the mixed material is ideal for all types of gap filling requirements on steel, aluminium, polycarbonates and general plastics. It is also very good on vertical surface bonds because it is an MMA |
Methacrylate it exhibits excellent structural strength even without priming the surfaces. Because of its macro structure the bonds formed show excellent durability high peel strength even in big gaps and excellent solvent and environmental resistance, resisting fuels, lubricants cleaning chemicals and fluids. |
TYPICAL USAGES OF MACROPLEXX TM
Structural joining of metals, plastics, composite bonding and on ceramics where high impact strengths are needed. Applications include wind turbine, vehicle roofs, fibreglass, sports goods, automotive spoilers, vents, housings. |
