CA01 (TDS 45)
HIGH VISCOSITY- Bonds most plastics, rubbers, metals, woods, cork etc.
CA01 is High viscosity ethyl based superglue for bonding where gap fill is important, or where the materials are absorbent.
CA01 is versatile and will bond most plastics, rubbers and metals. Because of its viscosity CA01 allows additional bonding time prior to cure.
Typical applications are ferrite cores, magnets, loud speaker cones, leather trims, metal badges, and electronic components; however will also bond cork, wood, ceramic, plastics etc.
Only apply adhesive to one side. Apply pressure firmly for a few seconds until the bond forms. Allow to cure before putting into use. |
JET SET TM 41 (TDS 36)
SURFACE INSENSITIVE- Bonds woods, paper, cardboard, furniture, hobbyists etc.
Jet Set TM 41 is a Hybrid quality Cyanoacrylate which is surface insensitive and bonds to a wide variety of materials including wood, paper, cardboard, leather, fabrics etc. Bond times vary according to the substrates but are generally faster than normal superglues.
Typical applications include wood trim on furniture, balsa wood bonding for hobbyists, leather accessories on shoes, fabric bows on shoes and lampshade bonding. Other features include versatile bonding or most elastomers, metals and plastics.
On elastomer bonding and some plastics, residues or release agents on surfaces should be removed by solvent wipe with 7A03 Cleaner. |
GEL SET TM 44 (TDS 50)
PASTE-NON DRIP- Bonds leather, woods, metals, rubbers, plastics etc
Gel Set TM 44 is a thixotropic Gel or Paste-like superglue. It is a non-drip formulation and will not run on vertical surfaces.
It is fast to set on difficult surfaces such as leather, acetic substrates and excellent for wood bonding, metals, rubbers, plastics etc.
Where vertical surfaces with large gaps (up to 1mm with activator, 0.2mm with out) are being bonded, Gel Set TM 44 Stays in place.
When a fast cure is needed, our A021 or the faster A113 Activators will help cure the thickness and speed cure the adhesive, however, a reduction in ultimate bond strength will be found. |
SURE SET 60 (TDS 39)
LOW VISCOSITY- Surface Insensitive/ Bonds neoprene, natural rubbers, metals, copper etc.
Sure Set 60, when compared to other Low Viscosity Cyanoacrylates, outperforms most products for cure speed, final cured strength and simply the wide range of difficult plastics and elastomers it can bond.
For example, Nitrile, Neoprene and natural rubbers, plastics such as ABS, soft PVC, Polyacetal, EPT and EVA can be bonded in 1-2 seconds and all the bonds are stronger than the material being bonded.
Metals such as Steel, Aluminium, Copper and Brass all bond in under 5 seconds and the bond strengths are superior to other manufacturers low viscosity products.
Slower cures of up to 12 seconds are found on Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA), Bakelite, Polycarbonate and Viton TM rubber.
Polyolefin’s can be treated with special preparations. |
COMMAND KIT 4061 (TDS 128)
EXTREMELY STRONG, RAPID CURE SURFACE INSENSITIVE ADHESIVE.
All the same properties as Sure Set 60 except it comes in kit form complete with command cure primer A701 for use on Silicones, Polypropylene, Polyethylene and difficult Elastomers. For example, Nitrile, Neoprene and natural rubbers, plastics such as ABS, soft PVC, Polyacetal, EPT and EVA can be bonded in 1-2 seconds, porous materials such as wood can benefit from a spray of primer creating a barrier to the adhesive absorbing, accelerating the cure. |
SPECTAK TM 80 BLACK (TDS 54)
HIGH SHOCK AND PEEL RESISTANCE- Bonds rubbers, metals etc.
Spectak TM 80 is a Black modified, tough Cyanoacrylate with higher peel and shock resistance to other grades.
Variety of bonding applications including, bonding rubbers and metals, but also acting as a strain relief in tough demanding environments.
Spectak TM 80 is designed for use with Activator A113 to cure through gaps and large deposits or drop such as bridging and tacking/strain relief of components. |
